Menu for Dinner Hosted by Queen Elizabeth II for the Reagans

This menu was created for a white tie dinner hosted by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip at Windsor Castle for President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan on June 8, 1982. At the dinner, approximately 150 guests feasted in St. George's Hall at a 146-foot long mahogany table designed for Queen Victoria. Other guests at the dinner included Secretary of State Alexander Meigs Haig and the queen's sister, Princess Margaret. This menu is part of a personal collection belonging to former White House Executive Chef Henry Haller, who served from 1966-1987.
